wel,a and desire and pray you to labor Sir Richard Aldborough, to
caus him1 to deliuer unto my cosin Dame Isabel Ilderton2 such beasts
and cattel as he retayneth and witholdeth from her; for she hath noother mean to help herself with unto that a determination be had
betwixt Thomas Ilderton and her of the liuelyhed that standeth in
trauers betwixt them. Cosin, as ye loue mee, that ye wil endeuor your
selfe for the performance of the praemisses, wherin you shal deserue
great thank of God, and to mee right great pleasure; that knoweth our
Lord, who haue you, cousin, in his blessed keeping. Written in my
manor of Lekingfield, the twenty fiue day of September.Your cousin H. Northumberland

To my trusty and welbeloved Cossin, Sir William Plompton, knight.
Right trusty and withal my hart my right welbeloved cosin, I
gret you wel, and desire and pray you to labor Sir Richard
Aldborough, a to caus him to deliver unto my cosin, dame Isabel
Ilderton,b such beasts and cattel as he retayneth and withholdeth
