69 Robert Eyre1 to Sir Robert Plumpton [possibly 23 March 1488/9] (No.
104, p. 62)Right worshipfull Sir, I recomend me vnto your mastership. Please it
you witt ?at I vnderstand pat my cousin, Ralph Hawgh,2 sendeth to
your mastership for such dues as was granted to his mother & to him
by my master your father & you, vnder your seales, ?e which writting &
your seales to come before men of worship & discretion. I am certayne,
when ye se him, will not be denyed, for your seales be well knowne, &
to show in money other matters <in> this contry, the which are of
great charge. Wherwith, it please your mastership, pat after my poore
advice, take a direction with him at this tyme, for it will els [. . .]a <be
proces>, turne to more cost, & ?at wold I be right sory fore.3 From

To my right worshipfull master, Sir Robart Plompton, kt. this bill
be delivered.Right worshipfull Sir, I recomend me unto your mastership;
please it you witt, that I understand that my cousin, Ralfe
