77 Robert Eyre to Sir Robert Plumpton, 4 August [?1489] (No. 103, p. 61)
[p. 62] After all due recomendations had, please it youre mastership to
witt ?at Ralph Haugh, according to the agrement & award betwixt
you & him made, hath deliuered into my hands all such evydence as
he hath concernyng your mastership, endeferently to be kept vnto such
tyme as a sufficyent & lawfull estate be made vnto the said Ralph of a
yerly rent of v mark for terme of life of the sayd Ralph; ?at is to say,
a feoffament of trust indented made by your mastership vnto me &
other of the manor of Darley with the appurtenances, & a letter of
atturney according to the same; also ij obligations, one of ccc marke &
another of xli. Wherfore I besech you to be good master, & to make
him a lawfull estate acording to the award, at which tyme all the sayd
evydence shalbe deliuered vnto your hands, or to your assigne;1 and if
there be any service or pleasure ?at I may doe, it shalbe done at my
power, by Gods grace, who ever preserve you, body and soule. Written
at Padley, the iiij day of August last past.Your owne Robart Eyre squirea

LETTER XXXVII.
To the right honorable and my especiall good master, Sir Robart
Plompton, knight, be this letter delivered.After all due recomendations had, please it youre mastership to
witt that Ralfe Haugh, according to the agrement and awarda
betwixt you and him made, hath delivered into my hands all such
evydence as he hath concernyng your mastership, endefferently to
be kept unto such tyme as a sufficyent and lawfull estate be made

Hassop, dated 12 July, 5 Hen. VII. 1490, witnesses, Robert Eyre, John Roklay, and
Thomas Meverell, esqs.
