1 This general pardon followed a term of imprisonment, beginning 12 June 1461, for failure to redeem a bond of £2,000 entered into on 13 May 1461. On 10 Sept. 1462 Sir William obtained a release from all claims resulting from the bond, CB, 549,550, 552; Stapleton, lxviii–ix.
