LETTER CXV.
To my hartyly beloved Brother, Sir Robart Plompton, knyght.
Brother, I recomend me unto you. This Sunday my nephew
Sir William Gascoygne is ryden from home towards Colyweston,a
and whether further or nay I know not; howbeit, I trow better, he
had not. Brother, he desired me to wrytt unto you, praying that
ye wille content unto this brings, my Cousin Robart Hastings,
iiij mark and xxd. now dew unto him at this Martymasse last,
which is right gredy therupon, and gladly my nephew wold he
were content. If ye wold any thing to London, send me work;
that I can, for I thinke I send one right shortly after my nephew.
Thus farewell. At Gaukthorp, this Sunday.
