Feoffment with warranty1 by Robert Plompton, kt, to Nicholas Mid- dilton, Richard Greave and Robert Halderby, esqrs, and Richard Plompton, clerk, of the manor of Hassop with its appurtenances in Derbyshire, also lands and tenements in the vill of Hassop and Rowland. To have to them, their heirs and assigns, holding of the chief lords of that fee by due services and right customs.
Also power of attorney to Thurston Lawe and Richard Wall, severally and together, to enter the premises, take full seisin in the name of the grantor and then to deliver full and peaceful possession to the aforesaid grantees according to the from and effect of the above charter.
Witnesses: William Gascoigne, Ralph Pygot and Christopher Warde, kts, Tristram Bolling, Walter Baildon and many others.
