Feoffment by Robert de Plompton, kt, to Alice de Plompton his mother, Richard de Norton, chief justice of the court of common pleas, Thomas de Rempston, kt, John Buttler, esq., and John Grene of his manors of Plumpton, Idle, Steeton in Airedale, and Nessfield with appurtenances, rents and services, with the advowson and presentation of his chantry of the Holy Trinity in the church of Ripon, with the reversion of 50m issuing from the manor of Plumpton which Dame Isabel, formerly the wife of Robert de Plompton, kt, his grandfather, has for life by his grant in lieu of a feoffment and dower after the death of the aforesaid Robert, her husband; also the manors of Grassington in Craven, and Little Studley, near Ripon, after the death of Alice, his mother.
