Feoffment by Robert de Plompton, esq., to Henry, Lord FitzHugh of Ravensworth, Dame Margaret Rempston, Dame Alice de Plompton, his mother, John Grene of Newby, William Forman, parson of the church of Kirkby Overblow, and John Brennand of Knaresborough of the manor of Plumpton with appurtenances and the advowson of the chantry in the collegiate church of Ripon; also the manors of Idle, Nessfield and Steeton with appurtenances, together with the reversion of lands, tenements, reversions and services in Grassington and Studley, which Dame Alice de Plompton, his mother, holds for life,1 and which,
after her death, descend by inheritance to the heirs of Robert. Witnesses: Nicholas de Middleton, kt, William de Beckwith, Richard de Stathington and John Poleyn.
