345. VITAYLE FOR RICHARD DRAYTON.
Before 1468.
This no doubt came to the second Thomas Stonor through his step-father
Richard Drayton. Since the goods were sent to the Crane it is probable that
they were to go by river up the Thames, and in that case the date may very
likely be earlier than 1450 when Richard Drayton and his wife lived at
Stonor; through Drayton may subsequently have lived at some time at
Dorchester. "Tregarn" is probably John Treguran, a London vintner,
who died before 1471 (Cal. Letter Book, L., p. 96). From Chancery Misc.
