William Plompton, esq., son of William Plompton, kt, held according to the custom of the manor 2 acres of waste in Knaresborough, formerly held by John Thorner, chaplain; 3 acres of land in Ferrensby upon ‘Panchorn’, formerly held by Ellen, wife of Mathew Daker; a parcel of land in Knaresborough marked by boundary stones called ‘Castleings’; a messuage with 18 acres of land in Arkendale Loftus; 26 acres and a rood of land and meadow, a ½ acre and a messuage, a cottage with an acre of land, and 14 acres of waste in Knaresborough, Scriven and Ferrensby, formerly held by Richard Brennand and Elizabeth his wife.
